THERE ARE THREE TYPES OF CANNABINOIDS:
1. SYNTHETIC CANNABINOIDS
Synthetic cannabinoids, are made in the laboratory, and have somewhat diluted and inconsistent effects compared to the natural phytocannabinoids and endocannabinoids. Completely isolated and synthetic cannabinoids have very little scientific evidence to support their benefit.
Endocannabinoids are endogenous chemicals occurring naturally in the body that have effects similar to those of the plant cannabinoids. The very first time we ingest cannabinoids is in our mothers milk. We continue to manufacture endocannabinoids for the rest of our lives, but as we age, we make less and less. We also use up our supply of endocannabinoids very quickly in the elimination of toxins from the body.
Phytocannabinoids were first to be discovered by studying certain active ingredients of marijuana, hemp, or cannabis, — hence the name, (cannabinoid). More than one hundred cannabinoids have been identified in the hemp plant. It is very unique in this way. The existence of plant cannabinoids in hemp has given rise to an unprecedented amount of research being done on hemp, most specifically on the two phytocannabinoids named THC and CBD.
The existence of endocannabinoidsin our bodies, and phytocannabinoids in the hemp plant, suggests that our historical relationship with hemp is far more complex than anyone has yet theorized. At the very least, we know that phytocannabinoids, and specifically Cannibidiol, will stimulate our own Endocannibinoid system, unleashing a cascade of healing benefits!
